i assumed he would have told Carver (or at least Garrett) about it during the time before the Deep Roads. Anders talks about his escapes, and the Circle, pretty readily in party banter. it’s not beyond the realm of possibility that he would have mentioned it BEFORE Carver became a Templar.
I can believe that Anders told Garrett. I cannot believe that Garrett would have told Carver.
